03-29-20: Due to the CDC Domestic Travel Restrictions for NJ, NY and CT the Jersey Rumble will be postponed/cancelled.

Since I book the hotel year to year to have a date, I do not know if there would be any availability to schedule again in Newark. I have not spoken with the hotel yet. Please consider Heatwave in July in Garden City, NY or the PA State meet in July in York, PA (at a hotel).

Lifters should expect to see an email and an update request that is sent by the scoring system (how openers are requested) to identify if they want a refund or have a credit held for the reschedule of this event or date later in the year.  If you do not receive an update request (may go to your spam folder) please email the address below.

I think we were all hoping things would improve. However, 6 weeks out from the scheduled date and more travel restrictions enacted, there is not enough time to properly prepare for competition.

A Note on Refunds – The Paypal processing fee will not be refunded, this is their policy, only the meet entry cost will be refunded. The refunds will be processed as quickly as Paypal allows me to process them. I have also run into “errors” when doing multiple refunds and asked to try again later.
